About BA Music and German
This Joint Honours programme combines a full course in music with German, which can be studied from beginners' level. It provides a valuable skill set that is ideally tailored to the increasingly globalised workplace.
As well as following a structured German language course, you will study literature, history, thought, politics, linguistics and culture.
You will spend your third year abroad in a German-speaking environment, which will enable you to refine your language skills and cultural knowledge.
Both departments have an impressive reputation for teaching and research, as well as performance in Music. This degree provides a wide range of options that allow you to pursue your own interests in both fields. You will have access to the Bristol School of Modern Languages' state-of-the-art multimedia centre.
