Baby Massage Instructor Course

The course will cover:
• Principles, history and benefits of infant massage
• Preparing for baby massage classes
• Health and Safety practice
• Infant development (in reference to infant massage)
• Health considerations for baby massage classes
• Infant massage strokes and movements
• Infant massage in groups and with individuals
• How to run a baby massage course

Baby massage is one of the easiest and most pleasant ways of providing early and positive interaction through bonding, fun and trust whilst incorporating the nurturing touch of massage.
The baby massage instructor training course is designed to provide practitioners with the knowledge and teaching ability to safely and effectively deliver baby massage sessions and courses to parents and babies within either individual or group settings.
Baby massage is, the main, for parents with babies from around 4 weeks up until the babies are learning to crawl (around 7-10 months).
To complete this course, you will need to complete a group case studies with 4 parents and babies. We deliver this as a 3 day attendance course. On successful completion, you will receive a Diploma in Teaching Baby Massage (Instructor Course).
Please note this is not a 'hands on' massage qualification (You will not be qualified to massage babies yourself). This course will qualify you to teach parents to massage their babies.
