Bachelor of Engineering Sciences in Transport Engineering

get knowledge and understanding of the mathematical principles necessary to underpin education in automotive engineering and to enable the application of mathematical methods, tools and notations proficiently in the analysis and solution of engineering problems;
apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of other engineering disciplines to support the study of automotive engineering.

This study program aims to provide graduates with the technical qualities, transferable skills and independent learning ability to make them effective in organisations that design and develop automotive products.
Graduates work within the automotive industry, which comprises a wide range of businesses, institutes and agencies active in the research, development, manufacturing, validating, maintaining and selling of products associated with vehicles and transport system. ‘Vehicles’ should be understood as a broad concept covering passenger vehicles, trucks, buses, special vehicles, motor cycles, but also pulled vehicles such as trailers, semi-trailers and caravans.
