About this course
Students should enrol in couples - this does not necessarily have to be a partner of the opposite sex. If people attend on their own, the tutor will try to pair up wherever possible.

Course Aims:
For students to get both enjoyment from the course the pleasure of dancing and the ability to take to the dance floor with confidence.
Course Content:
To learn four modern dances i.e.
Waltz,
Slow Foxtrot,
Tango,
Quick step.
To learn 4 latin dances i.e.
Rumba,
Samba,
Cha cha,
Jive.
Progression:
Beginners - people who are absolute beginners with no experience.
Intermediate/Advanced - Tutor will assess their appropriate level at the first class.
Awarding Body:
None.
Exam:
Leisure Class.
Qualification:
None. Leisure.
Level:
See Progression. (Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced available.)
Professional Appearance:
Suitable shoes must be worn. No trainers or rubber-soled shoes. For ladies, a sensible court shoe will be fine but no slingbacks please as these do not support the foot.
Duration:
1 hour a week for 12 weeks.
