Course Content

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires all of the dental team to have "adequate instruction and training" in the event of a fire. The DBG provide Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training for the dental team. The training takes place at your practice and includes:

  • Understanding the theory
    and causes of fire.
  • Fire hazards and precautions.
  • Raising the alarm.
  • Means of escape.
  • Classes of fire.
  • Which extinguisher.
  • Correct use of fire extinguishers.
  • Fire Marshal's and their role.

2 hours verifiable CPD.
