About the Course

The course is designed to provide basic tiling skills for those seeking employment in the multi-trade with no previous experience or knowledge in this job sector. This course demonstrates the right procedure from project preparation to the finishing of the job.

Course Contents

• Understand tiling tools and equipment
• Project inspection and site work preparation
• Introduction to fixing floor tiles and skirting tiles
• Levelling and setting out
• Borders and patterns work
• Tile cutting
• Apply adhesives
• Apply grounting
• Clean tools, equipment and work area

Course Duration

• 5 weeks, 1 day a week
• 5 days intensive

Further Study

You may be eligble to study towards City & Guilds Construction Basic Skills Level 1 and Level 2.
