Bathroom Fitting

This 5 day course has been specifically designed by Capital Training (SW) Ltd to equip you with both the underpinning knowledge and an understanding of the practical skills required to completely decommission and install a new bathroom suite.

No previous experience is required to take part in this course. This course is suitable for anyone who is looking to complete a DIY project or who is looking to move forward and develop a career change.

Out Bathroom Fitting training and its department adheres to both City and Guilds and CAA requirements; therefore ensuring excellent facilities are in place for you to work through this intensive course. Our classes are small to ensure everyone gets the benefit of our instructor's knowledge and time for any questions that you may have come across, they are here to help.

The course covers the following;

· An introduction to Plumbing Regulations

· The Correct Usage of Plumbing Tools, Equipment & Blow Lamps

· An oversight to Plumbing Materials

· Tap & Waste Trap Maintenance

· Removal and Installation of copper and plastic pipes

· Removal and Installation of copper and plastic pipes

· Removal and Installation of Sanitary wear

· Drain down water system

· An introduction to Copper and Plastic Pipe-work jointing

· Pipe-Bending

On completion of the course you will receive either a Capital Training (SW) Ltd certificate of competency or OCN Accreditation, helpful notes and photographic portfolio showing the stages of the work you have carried out during the period you have trained with us. Throughout your training all tools and equipment will be fully provided and demonstrated.

What do I need to bring?

All tools and equipment will be fully provided and demonstrated, you will need to wear safety boots for the duration of the course - you can either supply this yourself or purchase them from us at a cost of £15.
