To obtain this qualification you must successfully achieve the following units: Word processing software (4 credits). Spreadsheet software (4 credits). Presentation software (4 credits). Improving productivity using IT (4 credits mandatory unit). There is a 1 hour assessment at the end of the mandatory unit and a 45 minute test at the end of each other unit. Suitable for: ECDL Extra is intended to assess the main applications that users require. It allows individuals to develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects by developing competency and confidence in a range of IT skills to get the most out of a computer.
