Course Title: Bereavement
Overview:
The course will benefit all carers who work with the elderly and vulnerable adults in both the care home and domiciliary setting.
It will explain the main issues relating to bereavement in the care setting.
Course Content:
During the course you will learn:
- Skills to communicate with everyone involved,
- Principle elements of death and the bereavement
process, - Gain an awareness of various rituals, customs and cultures that surround death and bereavement,
- Sources of information, help and counselling for workers
and relatives.
