Our degrees are divided into stages. Each stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each stage.

You may have the flexibility to choose an alternative optional module from the wider University with approval of the Degree Programme Director.
This first year is shared with Biology (C100) and Biology (Ecology and Conservation) (C182), allowing for easy transfer to any of these before second year should your interests change.

Careers Biology careers
The range of skills that you acquire as a Biology or Zoology student opens the door to a wide variety of career options.
