This module introduces and develops the skills you'll need to make use of your technical knowledge as a professional engineer. - Technology evaluation and commercialisation
This module will increase your awareness of the commercial aspects of your design embedded in your MSc project. - Advanced instrumentation and control
You'll develop advanced techniques in data acquisition and manipulation that is required for instrumentation and control applications. - Digital signal processing and real-time systems
You'll be introduced to the theory behind digital signal processing to including how it can be implemented in real-time and embedded systems. - Applied biomedical sciences for engineers
This module introduces you to biological systems; from the organisational level of the molecular, to the organ and physiological functions of the whole body.
All modules have a number of assessment components. These can consist of assignments, mini tests, essays, laboratory reports and log books and examinations of various kinds.
