Bone and Periosteal Histophysiology Serial Anatomy and Cadaver Dissection

Oxford Society of Oral Implantology offers a unique opportunity to attend this fourday programme within the University of Lille Medical School. It includes an intensive and condensed study of bone and periosteal histophysiology and serial anatomy of head and neck, to include cadaver dissection. There is a full social programme including, amongst others, a convivial and typical French "Moules Frites et Bière".

Course Programme

  • Healing mechanisms in hard and soft tissue
    Physiology and metabolism of bone and periosteum
    Medical Evaluation of patients before, during and after implant placement; relative and absolute contraindications
  • Clinical and practical serial anatomy necessary for enhancement of success in implant and reconstructive surgery; general and critical anatomic landmarks
  • Cadaver dissection
