We shall explore the ideas of boundaries, holding and containment as the fundamental pillars of the therapeutic relationship, which allow for progress in therapy. We shall examine the concepts both in life and in the clinical context.

About this course

The course is aimed at all professionals working in the fields of counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, the business and corporate world – in all spheres where we engage with people professionally and personally.It is also open to people who wish to explore these issues in own lives.
Relevant theory will be presented, always followed by group discussion. The course is experiential and we shall use a variety of methods, eg: pair and group work, visualisation, poetry, story and role play as triggers to help access feelings.
