Course programme
- How to mix and spread mortar, lay brick and block
- How to differentiate between types of brick and block bonds
- Develop trowel skills and be able to construct block, solid and cavity walling
- Learn about construction technology and the construction process
- Work on projects that are constructed within acceptable tolerances
- Functional Skills in maths and English (for those who have not achieved GCSE grades C or above in these subjects)
- Develop Functional Skills in IT
