Course programme

Explore London’s fascinating array of housing styles with this series of four walks profiling the philanthropic housing for the East End's industrious poor, the modernist style of the 1930s privately commissioned homes in Hampstead, Pinner’s semi-detached suburbia of Metroland, the 1915 marketing ruse of the Metropolitan Railway and the brutalist blocks of flats in post-war Bethnal Green designed by iconic architects including Lubetkin and Lasdun.
