Would you like to play bridge but really have little idea of where to start? This course on minibridge gives a gentle introduction into the game and leaves you well placed to go on and learn the game of bridge. It is ideally suited for those people who are either unfamiliar with card games or who haven't played cards in a long while. Minibridge is promoted by the English Bridge Union as the best way to familiarise yourself with the mechanics of playing the cards and is an fascinating game in itself.

Never played bridge but interested in giving it a try? Have you played a whist-based game before (that is, any game based on the idea of tricks and trumps)? Then this is the course for you. Paul will introduce you to this fascinating game, giving you the rudiments of what the game is about, and a brief introduction to its rules and techniques. From here you will have a solid base on which to develop further if (or when!) you get hooked.
