Overview At a glance This course is for students who want to develop supervisory and administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a variety of administrative contexts. They will apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.  They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. Competencies will include computing units, team skills, prioritising, report and business writing skills, organising meetings and business travel, work health and safety and administrative skills. Application Mode Distance Courses/Units Ten (10) units must be successfully completed-five(5) to be selected from Group A and five(5) selected from Group B. Offerings Distance

This course is available by distance study.

This program is offered as distance (on-line) with training support through email and telephone. Students will have 10 weeks to complete ech unit. Distance students require self-motivation and must have 4-6 hours per week available for study for each unit. Because this course is self-paced students need reasonably good technology and literacy skills to read and follow text books and online course material. Students will need to have access to a computer with internet and email. Basic numeracy skills are also required.
