Our Biomedical Science degree will give you an intellectually stimulating education in the fast-moving field of the science that underpins modern medicine. This course, which is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), gives you a thorough grounding in the theory and practice used by Biomedical Scientists to diagnose and treat diseases, but also prepares you for a career in a wide range of biomedical fields. On this course you will learn about the human body at the molecular, cellular, organ and systems levels in health and disease.

Cambridge has become a world-leading centre for biomedical research and commercial activities of the biotechnology industry. You will benefit from proximity to world-renowned institutions based in the city such as the Sanger Institute and the Wellcome Trust laboratories. Alternatively, you could use the transferable skills you have developed in business or further education.

For CRIC: 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above. For GCSE taken prior to 2017 a grade E or above will be accepted Or a minimum of 19 points in the International Baccalaureate
