This new and innovative four-year course incorporates a foundation year that will give you the knowledge and skills that you need to progress on to our three-year BSc Physics degree.
Physics at UEA takes place in a multidisciplinary faculty with a thriving research community, specialising in geophysics, fluid mechanics, chemical physics and quantum physics.
The foundation year is designed to fill gaps in your knowledge, and provide you with the skills you'll need as an undergraduate. You will study core modules in physics and mathematics, and select optional modules in either biology, chemistry or computing depending on your interests. After this, you're able to continue onto BSc Physics, which provides you with a fundamental grounding in core physics topics with a range of optional modules in applied fields.
