Course programme

You will have the opportunity to practice fingerspelling and develop your use of location, movement, pace and flow. You will improve your ability to recognise fingerspelling patterns and your confidence in recognising shapes and letter groups.

- Demonstration and explanation - Classroom discussion - Pairwork practice. Video resources and books are available for loan from the City Lit library.

To continue your learning of BSL, there are a number of workshops aimed at developing your knowledge and skills, such as ‘BSL roleshift / referent practice’.
