What is the BTEC Certificate in WorkSkills course?
The WorkSkills suite of qualifications has been developed with the aim of up-skilling Jobcentre Plus customers. Learners can take bite -sized units leading to a BTEC Certificate centred on the skills, behaviours, and attitudes that employers most value in potential recruits.

WorkSkills for Adult Returners
The WorkSkills suite can give learners the updated skills and renewed confidence they need to return to work. Learners can gain a formal recognition for valuable skills that they have developed outside the workplace and also acquire new skills to improve their employability.

NB An interview is required befo re you can enrol on this course.

Teaching and Learning
You will be allocated a tutor/assessor who will help you through your online learning and workplace assessments and provide you with feedback. There will also be workshop sessions available where you will acquire additional knowledge and skills.

Assessment details
Learners are able to accumulate unit credits at their own pace to gain a BTEC Certificate. The learner will build an on-line portfolio that will be assessed during and after each unit.

Progression
Diploma in WorkSkills.

Notes
This is a Learning & Skills Council (LSC) funded course and you may be exempt from the tuition fee, however you would be required to pay the registration fee at the time of application.

Tuition fees for overseas students may vary from those quoted.

Extra costs : Books approximately £30, A4 file, writing materials and file paper.
