BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts Level 1

This course gives you an excellent introduction to dance and drama, allowing you to develop skills and confidence across all areas of performing arts.

The tutors are all experienced in the performing arts industry, and specialise in drama and dance.

This course covers:

• exploring acting skills,
• exploring dance skills,
• taking part in a performance,
• starting to develop performance skills,
• exploring musical theatre skills,
• performing arts individual repertoire and showcase,
• promoting a performing arts event,
• preparing and presenting performing arts work,
• working in the performing arts industry.

Entry Requirements

• A minimum of four GCSEs grade E or above, including English language, and maths at grade F or above, or
• an entry level 3 qualification,entry level 3 English and entry level 2 maths.
