Handling and restraining animals, bathing and grooming, feeding and exercising as well as spending six weeks on a work experience. This is a mandatory requirement of this course and so learners must be prepared to travel in Luton and the surrounding areas. Personal communication, numeracy and IT skills will be developed. This qualification is split into /Certificate/Diploma with the Certificate building towards the Diploma Level 2. It is expected that most learners will progress through the Certificate to complete the Diploma to practice within the field of Animal Care.
