This course is ideal if you are an adult returning to education looking towards developing skills in a range of Art & Design activities including Textiles, 3D, Ceramics, Fine Art, Graphics, and Fashion.
Special Features: All Art and Design students study in our purpose-built Art school at the Ashton campus. This allows students at all levels to share ideas and have access to work by students in other creative areas. There is an extensive range of facilities for students wishing to go on and specialise in Fashion, Graphic Design, Photography or 3D Design.
Course Format: Student work is assessed on a continuous basis with students completing various assignments and coursework, which are compiled into a portfolio for the award.
Progression: Having successfully completed the course, which is equivalent to 4 GCSEs grades A , C, you will have the opportunity to further your education through Btec foundation diploma in art and design and from there you could progress to University.
