Entry RequirementsAt least two GCSE's at grades D to G.
Everyone attends an interview and must show a positive attitude and an interest in Music.
A willingness to learn and want to be successful on the Diploma also required.
Course Content
Units offered include:·Exploring computer systems used by musicians
·Planning and creating a music product
·Exploring the music profession
·Exploring musical composition
·Exploring an area of music
·Producing a musical recording

This is a one year course where students attend college for three or four days a week.
Students also have the opportunity to take part in trips to music studios and live music events.
How will I be assessed?
Progress is continually assessed through completion of creative production projects, practical assignments and written assignments in each area of the course.
What can I do next?
Successful completion of the course will give learners the opportunity to progress to the National Certificate Music Technology (Level 3)
