Course Entry Requirements
All learners will need to complete a part-time Higher Education application form and interview prior to enrolling.
The BTEC Higher National Certificate is a course intended for students wishing to enhance their qualifications after completing a craft certificate or BTEC National Certificate or National Diploma in an appropriate discipline.
Mature students wishing to return to study without any formal qualifications are also welcomed, but with industrial experience or at least one A level with supporting passes at GCSE grades A, B or C.
Course Progression
It is possible to progress onto the HND in Building Services Engineering. You may further your studies by progressing to professional institute examinations (C.I.B.S.E) or enrolling on a degree level course.
Course Career Prospects
- It will be possible to gain promotion into higher management within individual construction companies into positions such as Building Services Engineer, Building Project Manger, Building Control Surveyor
