This two year course has been designed to develop a range of skills covering core units and optional units with techniques relevant to the fashion industry.
The course offers a broad experience for fashion illustration and design including projects set by associates from industry. Pattern construction and garment production have a strong emphasis on textile embellishment. Learners are encouraged to enter prestigious competitions, to gain placements and employment in the industry. Learners are encouraged to progress and establish their own label or to continue to develop their skills to degree level. The department creates exciting opportunities for learners to experience such as trips to Europe or America. Homework or private study is required.
