The course helps students develop skills working with a variety of materials and techniques, and puts the emphasis on the creative process. Students are encouraged to explore and develop ideas as they work through a number of projects and to use research into the work of others to help in this process. As part of this students will participate in a number of visits to exhibitions and galleries in London, and a residential trip (four nights) to either Cornwall or Wales as the basis of research for the Final Major Project.
