This course combines Performing Art and Music to give you an insight into the Performing Arts and Music industries. This 1 year course which will give you skills in performing and music giving you the opportunity to choose a vocational area the following year. This is a perfect course for you if you want to move on to a Level 2 course.

What will I be doing?
You will get an insight into the industry of Performing Arts and Music and work towards the production of theatre performances that include acting, dance and music. You will learn about the essential skills needed to be able to work in either of these industries. You will have the opportunity to work in our theatre, dance studio and music industry standard recording studio.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by a portfolio of work that you gather throughout the year, there are no written exams.

Where can I go after completing the course?
After the successful completion of the course you will be able to progression to a Level 2 course.
