Course Description:
The course is an introduction to child care in a friendly and supportive environment. it will cover a range of personal development and vocational topics, and will be continually assessed

Description Breakdown:
There will be a focus on learning to work with children at an introductory level. Learners will study both the theory and practical aspects of child care through vocational units as well as Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT. There are also some personal development modules which will enable learners to work on their life and employment skills to build these skills in a supportive environment.
