Course Description:
This course is aimed at school leavers who are interested in Art and Design. It is a practically based course and requires creative talent and a committed attitude. There is a strong emphasis on research, development and evaluation.

Description Breakdown:
It covers graphics, painting, drawing, ceramics, print making, photography, textiles, 3D design, jewellery and art history. It is equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A to C. You will study Key Skills in communication, IT and numeracy at an appropriate level.

Trips Residentials: You will need to buy your own equipment/materials (approximately £100). You will have the opportunity to retake GCSE English and Maths if required. There will be opportunities to take part in day trips and visits.
