Course programme
CRC is a mandatory emission trading scheme in which 20,000 UK organisations will be participating, starting from April 2010. There will be considerable financial implications on participating companies. Companies who save energy will expect large financial gains, and an improved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
By contrast companies who do not improve their energy efficiency will be faced with large penalties and payouts. The CRC management course is designed to help candidates manage and understand the processes and measures of the CRC scheme and to maximise financial and environmental opportunities for an organisation. The course will guide the students towards achieving the Carbon Trust Standard.
By carrying out analysis with our software and the skills learnt on the BTEC Advanced course in CRC management, candidates will be able to offer invaluable advice on how qualifying businesses can benefit from applying energy efficiency measures and investment into energy saving technologies.
You will be able to assess the financial and environmental impacts of various measures and consider the risk associated with the scheme.
