The aim of the training course is to provide individuals with a greater understanding of Equality and Diversity issues within the martial arts sector. It also aims to provide the learner with the skills necessary to work within any socioeconomic group or community.
Suitable for: The course is suitable for both instructors, students and in general terms those people who wish to gain a greater working understanding of how to apply Equality and Diversity practices within the martial arts sector.

Course programme

The course units are: Health and Safety in the Workplace and Equality and Diversity within Martial Arts. The course teaches the learner how to work within the martial arts sector while respecting the diversity of cultures, religions and beliefs within our community. The course is style, system and association neutral and is part of a series of courses produced by MAT that are the only martial arts and combat sport based sector specific courses that are nationally recognised and independently quality assured for their content, structure and accreditation.
