Course Description:
This course is aimed at school leavers and mature students who wish to gain a broad qualification in design, mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering.

Description Breakdown:
Projects and assignments as well as learning in a classroom and workshop environment. The course includes a balance between theory and practical skills, understanding engineering theory and calculations, as well as using computers to design, calculate, make and write illustrated reports. The National Award and AS Design Technology are completed in the fi rst year. The second year completes the National Certifi cate with
A2 Design Technology.
