Last year, City of Westminster College’s media students were invited to film the world’s biggest mile, which marked the 60th anniversary of Roger Bannister’s four minute mile and Diane Leather’s five minute mile. In the lead up to the 2015 Bupa Westminster Mile marking the 30th anniversary of Steve Cram’s world mile record, the video of last year’s event made by CWC’s Media students has been released and is being used as part of the publicity campaign for the 2015 race. The video premiered at the Active Westminster Awards at Lord’s Cricket Ground in November 2014 and features interviews with Mo Farrah and Roger Bannister. The music was mixed by HND Music Production students and was recorded at the college.
