Study Method:
The BTEC National Certificate is a practical work related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations activities and demands. Students focus on a particular subject and develop a range of specialist skills and knowledge.
Duration :Two year course - Full-time
Who the Course is For:
The course is equivalent to two A levels. The Certificate provides both a broad foundation of business education and a firm basis for specialism in a selected avenue of business activity.
Assessment:
All units are internally assessed and graded. An overall grade is awarded to those who successfully complete all units.
Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.
Course Leads To:
BTEC National Certificates are valued by employers and lead to career opportunities in business specialisms such as Finance, Human Resources, Management or Marketing, as well as other Business related careers. Learners may further progress into higher education degree courses or BTEC Higher National Certificate/Diploma courses in Business.
