Who the Course is For:
School leavers with Grade B and above in Maths, Grade C in English and Double Science, and those that are progressing from BTEC 1st Diploma/GNVQ Intermediate with merit in Maths and Science. Those in work with a good craft qualification such as 236 part 2 or Electronic Servicing 224 or 7261.
Assessment:
Assignment and phase test plus one externally set assignment.
Course Leads To:
Enabling mature students (Electricians or Electronic/Computer Servicing Engineers) with a good craft qualification to progress to HNC and HND courses by improving their mathematics and electrical/electronic principles to level 3.
