Health and Social Care - BTEC National Diploma
What will I study?
This Level 3 course of study is designed to develop knowledge and skills required for those working in Health and Social Care Sectors. It will provide students with the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques; personal qualities and the necessary attributes for successful performance in the workplace. Students will study a variety of subject areas from lifespan development to social history, counselling to complementary therapies.

How can I progress?
This course has been developed to prepare learners to work in health-related careers, in a professional capacity. The course provides opportunities for learners to enter employment such as a paramedic; in the fields of medical science and investigations, or to progress to higher vocational qualifications such as a foundation degree or a full-time honours degree in a related subject.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
