Progression Diploma Health & Social Care

Course Aims:
The progression qualifications offer opportunities to learners:

- to develop their skills and knowledge
- to progress to further courses or employment
- to be recognised for their achievements in developing skills in a range of subjects

Course Content:
Students will study the following unit:

Developing and using research skills
Understanding prejudice and discrimination
Understanding equal opportunities
Understanding mental health
Understanding physical disabilities
Understanding family relationships
Healthy Living
Improving own learning and performance
Developing Personal Study Skills
Using calculations

Progression:
Students can progress onto other Level 3 programmes of study or can progress to an Access to Higher Education Diploma qualification.

Awarding Body:
National Open College Network (NOCN)

Exam:
All units will be assessed by a combination of portfolios building and written work. There are no externally set exams.

Qualification:
NOCN Level 2 Diploma for Progression
