You will have the opportunity to write, create, record, mix, master, promote and perform your own music. You will work with our state of the art equipment, recording studios and practice rooms. So whether your in to Hip-Hop, Rock, R & B, Pop or Urban this course could help you on your way to becoming a chart topper.

What will I be doing?
Your work will focus on creating material, studio recording & production, music business, programming, performance & promotion, artist development and music theory. During the course you can expect to perform at music venues, create, market & promote your music, organise events, collaborate with visual and performing arts students and market yourself.

How will I be assessed?
Work is assessed continuously through projects, assignments via units. Learners will produce a portfolio of evidence for each project and be awarded a Pass, Merit or Distinction depending on the quality of the work.

Where can I go after completing this course?
BTEC National Diplomas are valued by employers and higher education (universities and colleges). If you decide to go to university or college you could take a degree or a BTEC Higher National.
