DESCRIPTION:
This 18 week, full-time course is specificallydesigned for learners to learn a number of different skills in the building and engineering industries. The course is ideal to allow time and reflection before making a career choice, as well as ensuring that the successful learner will be well equipped in a number of practical transferable skills.

CONTENT:
Practical hands-on training programme with a choice of four disciplines from: Electrical Craft Skills | Brickwork | Electronics | Auto Bodywork | Factory Maintenance | Joinery | Machining | also includes: Intro to Information Technology | Physical Education | Literacy and Numeracy.

QUALIFICATIONS & PROGRESSION:
College certificate plus a number of SQA units in various disciplines. Will enhance the prospects of successful learners to enter work as a trainee in one of the disciplines.
