Building Crafts Construction

Course Aims:
The course aims to provide a bite-sized approach to construction and provide an opportunity to get learners back into education or training with progression to a Level 2 qualification.

Course Content:
Studetns will study 3 units:

- Mix construction materials
- Cut, lay and fix construction components
- Set out for construction components

Progression:
Successful candidates can progress onto the Level 2 CAA ~Diploma in Construction

Awarding Body:
CAA

Exam:
There are no formal examinations. Students will have their work assessed by the tutor thoughout the course.

Qualification:
Level 1 Certificate in Building Crafts (Construction)

Level:
Level 1

Other Costs:
Students will be required to purchase their own overalls and reinforced-toe footwear

Duration:
The course will last 30 weeks and sessions will take place 5.00-9.00pm per week.
