To register on a competent person scheme with NICEIC or ECA, you will need to develop your knowledge and skills and have an understanding of Part P of the Building Regulations. This five day qualification has been designed to assist you in achieving the standard expected in the electrical industry. This course is ideal if you wish to undertake domestic installation work and on completion of this it is recommended that you achieve the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course, you will then be able to register on a competent person scheme and become a domestic installer.
