Learning outcomes and objectives
- Understanding what constitutes workplace bullying and harassment.
- Identifying acceptable and unacceptable forms of behaviour.
- Exploring why bullying and harrassment may happen, and what can be done about it.
- The legal definitions of bullying and harrassment (and your statutory rights)
- Recognising the different forms which harrassment and bullying may take and how to take control as a manager / supervisor.
- Understanding the St Monica Trust 'Harassment and bullying' policy.
Our team leader training is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and is delivered with a total focus on the management of care services. It links with many aspects of the Registered Manager Award NVQ, by providing underpinning knowledge.
All management training and NVQ assessment can be provided to team leaders in their own place of work with one-to-one support from a dedicated St Monica Trust trainer/assessor.
Half day courses usually run from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. / 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
