Objectives

This course is for people who may have to deal with aggression at work

Aims

It shows delegates how to recognise the onset of a difficult situation as early as possible and to take appropriate defusing action.

Elements

It shows how to carry out risk assessments on aggression and what organisational measures can be put in to place.

Notes

This programme does not cover physical breakaway or controls and restraints which should only be given by trainers following Home Office or Royal College of Nursing Guidance.
