Description
Business and Administration NVQs are aimed at staff working in administration across all occupations and sectors of employment.

The level 4 qualification is intended for individuals who are working at a senior level with considerable responsibility for the management of systems and resources, working with an extensive degree of autonomy. The individual's role will involve developing and monitoring facilities and resources to maintain an administrative service within the organisation.

Course Length
9 12 months. As you work at your own pace some people achieve in a shorter time.

What will I study?
OCR Level 4 NVQ in Business and Administration
To achieve a full award, candidates must complete six units in total from two mandatory units and four optional units. At least three optional units must be from group B.

How will I learn?
Like all NVQs this qualification is competence based. This means that it is linked to the candidate's ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work. Candidates plan a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove that they are competent and knowledgeable in their work role.

How will I be assessed?
The assessor will judge the evidence of a candidates performance, knowledge and understanding against the units of competence in order to decide whether the candidate has demonstrated competence. The assessor will have suitable experience and be trained and qualified as an NVQ assessor.
