The MSc in Business Analytics prepares recent graduates and early career professionals to understand the context, importance and relevance of big data problems facing a business and how to solve them using a variety of statistical, operation research and machine learning techniques. Combining academic rigour and practical relevance, students will learn from leading practitioners and a world class faculty how to apply the latest academic thinking and analytical and computing tools to help make business decisions. There will be a careful balance of teaching, hands-on coursework and training in data analysis and business intelligence tools, plus regular seminars by external expert speakers. Imperial is recognised as a world leader in the study and analysis of data and the Business School is home to the KPMG Centre for Advanced Business Analytics.
