The Business and Administration Intermediate Level Apprenticeship is for those working in or about to start working in an administrative role and who wish to gain a recognised qualification. This programme is designed to provide you with the foundation of skills required to work efficiently and effectively in an administration role. Suitable for a wide variety of job roles such as administrators, database administrators, personal assistants, receptionists, information assistants, advisors.
Apprenticeships are made up of framework of qualifications and training based on testing competency and developing practical, occupational and transferable skills.
PRACTICAL/COMPETENCY ELEMENT:
Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration
Mandatory units:
• Communicate in a business environment
• Principles of providing administrative services
• Principles of business document production and information management
• Understand employer organisations
• Manage personal performance and development
• Develop working relationships with colleagues
Choose from a range of optional units to enhance your learning experience and tailor the programme to your individual training needs.

• Functional Skills in Maths Level 1, English Level 1 and ICT Level 1.

This Apprenticeship takes 18 months to complete and has a flexible start date. There is no upper age limit for apprenticeships making it a course ideal for both those looking to start a career in a particular sector or those who are already employed and looking to get qualifications that recognise their experience and gives them opportunity to progress further in their career.

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be in an administrative role.

This programme is delivered completely in the workplace. You will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of methods including observation, questioning, professional discussions, witness testimonials and candidate work products and statements
