Business and Management AptEd Access to HE Diploma Level 3 (W)

How do you study?

You will study a range of units each having the potential to be awarded at level 2 (equivalent to GCSE) or at level 3 (equivalent to A level). Each unit is worth 3 credits. For successful completion of the Access course you will need a minimum of 45 credits at level 3 and 60 credits overall. Each unit at level 3 is awarded a pass, merit or distinction. The core units you will study include subjects such as: business, management, human resources, finance and accounting and law. Along with your core units you will study a range of subjects that build and prepare you for academic study at university level. The units that you will study at each campus are detailed in the course options box at the top right hand side of the webpage.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will take the form of coursework, presentations or in class assessments depending on the unit you are studying. This is to ensure you learn how to perform well in each of these assessment methods ahead of progressing to university. We will teach you how to structure essays, prepare for exams and overcome presentation nerves.
