Through professional work-based learning modules delivered within SHU Law, our on-campus legal firm, you will develop the ability to apply law in a real world context so as to arrive at an understanding of the role of law in practice. SHU Law operates within the award winning Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice. There, you will engage in live client work in a variety of different practice areas within the law firm such as commercial, property and litigation. Being part of a dynamic professional legal services team, providing advice, assistance and representation at court, will give you exposure to live client-led legal practice activity. This will prepare you to work in the context of legal practice.
